Julia Johanna Revell Joyner, 94, died Thursday, October 25, 2018, after a long illness.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
She was born in Darlington County, SC, a daughter of the late Albert Bryce and Mary Katherine Stephens Revell. She was a bookkeeper with Belk Stores for many years. Mrs. Joyner was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church in Florence.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard L. Joyner; two sisters, Eleanor Revell Harrell and Katherine Revell Wilson; and two brothers, Marion Revell and G. W. Revell; and a grandson, Ryan Joyner.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth S. Joyner and Richard Marion Joyner, both of Florence; two sisters-in-law, Mary Pierce and Betty Joyner; two special nieces, Elaine Poston and Faye Munn; great-grandchildren; and special caregivers, Lureatha and Ann.
Memorials may be made to Pisgah United Methodist Church, 621 N. Ebenezer Rd., Florence, SC 29501.
