FLORENCE – Henry Allan “AJ” White, Jr., age 33, died Wednesday, July 24, 2024. He was born in Florence, SC, a son of Crystal Hyler Smith and Henry Allan White, Sr.
AJ was known for his love of boats, love of the water, but most of all, his love for his family. His memory will live on within his three children: in his eldest son – a love of baseball; in his daughter – expectation of a man’s love; and in his youngest son – fearless spirit.
AJ will be remembered as a provider, a dedicated father and husband, and a man who could fix anything. He fought the good fight and stood up, time and time again, until the Lord ended his suffering. His family will find peace in knowing that he knew God as his Lord and Savior.
He is survived by his wife, Taylor Allen White, and their three children, Blaine Allan White, Leighton Elizabeth White, and Colton Rivers White, all of Florence; his mother, Crystal Hyler Smith, and his father, Henry Allan White, Sr., both of Florence; his sister, Allie White Baker (Kyle), of Rockingham, NC; his grandparents-in-law, Janice and Bobby Welch, also of Florence; and many special aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home. During the visitation at 5:00 p.m., the family will have a time for sharing memories of AJ. Friends are invited to share a tribute at that time.
Memorials may be made to Bridges of Hope Charitable Trust, 1326 Antioch Church Road, Homerville, Georgia 31634.
