Alex Eduardo Morera

          WEST COLUMBIA, SC – Alex Eduardo Morera, 28, died Friday, November 22, 2024, in Union County, North Carolina.

          Alex was born in Broward County, Florida, a son of Randall G. Morera and Tonya M. Bibb.  He was a talented artist and loved to draw.  He also loved music and aspired to be a recording artist.  He was loved by all who knew him and had a special bond with his family.

          A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Florence Memorial Gardens Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home in Florence, SC.

          He is survived by his father, Randall G. Morera (April) of West Columbia, SC; his mother, Tonya M. Bibb (Ricardo Ruiz) of Indian Trail; two brothers, Anthony Morera of Matthews, NC, and Taylor Johnson of West Columbia, SC; three sisters, Julisa Morera of Charlotte, NC, Cassidy Ruiz and Katie Ruiz, both of Indian Trail; grandparents, Jim Stewart (Marta) of Florence, SC; and many extended family members.
