Allard Francis "Al" Parker

EFFINGHAM Allard Francis Al Parker, 54, died Thursday, September 26, 2013, in McLeod Hospice House after an illness.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2013, in Evergreen Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Al was born in Florence County, SC, a son of Topsy Ward Parker and the late Edward H. Parker. A life-long resident of Florence County, Al was a valued member of the staff of Bellamy Law Firm of Myrtle Beach. He was also a member of Evergreen Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to his mother of Effingham, include two daughters, Alicia Ali Parker (special friend, Jimmy Cox) of Florence and Merritt P. (Bryant) McNeill of Savannah, GA; a son, Payne Parker of Florence; a sister, Debbie Parker Martin of Florence; two brothers, Edward H. Bo Bo Parker, Jr. and Charles Russell Parker, both of Effingham; and two grandsons, Journey McNeill and Halen McNeill. He is also survived by many special extended family members.
