FLORENCE Angelia Young Angie Lee, 47, of Effingham, died Sunday, March 15, 2015, after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2015, at Evergreen Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Heather and Michael Kissiah.
Angie was born in Florence, a daughter of Teresa Carter Watson and Donnie L. Young. She was educated in the Florence public schools and attended Evergreen Baptist Church.
Her life was devoted to caring for children. She was also an avid animal lover.
A loving and devoted wife and mother, she is survived by her husband, Tony M. Lee of Effingham; a daughter, Heather (Michael) Kissiah, also of Effingham; her mother, Teresa C. (Wyman) Watson of Brittons Neck, SC; her father, Donnie L. (Ann) Young of Florence; a grandmother, Macy McLendon, of Florence; three sisters, Denise Y. McLendon, of Darlington, Tracy (Jim) Witty and Candi Cisson, both of Brittons Neck; two brothers, Tony (Natalie) Young, of Atlanta, GA, and Mark (Crystal) Young of Saluda, SC; and a number of extended family members.
She was predeceased by a brother, Ken Young.
