FLORENCE - Billy Darvin Larimore, Sr., 84, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015, after an illness.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Florence with burial following at Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home.
He was born in Millen, Georgia, a son of the late Lemuel Calvin and Gertrude Henley Larrimore. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed with DuPont and Fluor Daniels in Florence.
Mr. Larimore was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Joyce O. Larimore, of Florence; a son, Billy D. (Sue Fickling) Larimore, Jr., also of Florence; a daughter, Chris Larimore, of Charleston; a sister, Myrtice L. Bradham of Millen, GA; and two grandchildren, Daniel Larimore and Caroline Helen Larimore, both of Florence. He was predeceased by a sister, Ruby L. Johnson, and a brother, Edward Larrimore.
