Bobby "CT" Phillips

          Bobby “CT” Phillips, 78, died Friday, April 18, 2025.  He was born November 22, 1946, in Smithfield Township, North Carolina, a son of the late Richard and Betty Jane Knott Phillips.

          After honorable service in the United States Naval Reserves, Mr. Phillips spent his career in sales with GE/Trane heating and air conditioning.

          He was a member of Central United Methodist Church.

          In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son-in-law, Randy Sports.

          He is survived by his wife, Dody Phillips of Florence; daughter, Lee Ann Sports of Timmonsville; two sons, Eric Phillips of Colorado and Benji Shepard (Dawn) of Crossville, TN; four grandchildren, Bradley Sports (Stephanie), Hannah Sports Coward (Zachary), Aviah Shepard, and Rifkah Shepard; and three great-grandchildren.

          A private service to honor CT Phillips will be held at Central United Methodist Church in Florence.

          In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Beds Ministry at Central United Methodist Church, 265 W. Cheves St., Florence, SC  29501.
