Christine B. Willis, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Her life was a testament to faith, family, and dedication to her community.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Willis, her parents, Marshall Frank Blalock and Mary Hinson Blalock, and her siblings, Max Blalock and Carol D. Blalock.
Christine was a proud graduate of McClenaghan High School and furthered her education at Carolina College of Commerce. Her intellect and strong work ethic led to a fulfilling career with the Farm Credit Association, where she retired after years of loyal service.
She was a faithful member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and the Jimmy McNair Sunday School Class. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she exemplified kindness, compassion, and grace in all she did.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin (Lee) Freeman; grandson, Luke Freeman; step-grandchildren Jessica Britt and Dix Freeman; step-great-grandchildren Ian, Eli, and Jaden Britt; and loving nieces and nephews.
Christine's life was a blessing to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. Her legacy of faith, love, and resilience will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
The Funeral Service will be held on January 8, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Mary Alice Ingram Chapel at The Manor. Following the service, the family will receive friends at
The Manor Clubhouse.
