The beautiful earthly life of Courtney Graham ended on Thursday, June 25th, 2015 after an illness; she was 46.
Courtney is survived by her husband, Bobby Bob William Graham, Jr. and son, William Cade Graham. Also, her parents, Ansley and John McGinnis, her sister, Allison Tanner (Sean) and his children, Jordan, Christina, and Bailey. Also, her parents-in-law Barbara and Bobby William Graham, Sr., his sister Renee Graham Christopher (Chad) and their children, Graham and Scarlett. His brother Randall Cade Graham (Jennifer) and their children, Ashley, K. Lee, Pearson, Summer, and Mary Anna.
Courtney graduated Clemson University in 1991 with a B.S. in Marketing. She worked for CableVantage in Columbia for twelve years and served as their Regional Director. Courtney excelled in everything she did, and her biggest achievement and joy was to be a wife and a mother. In 2006, Courtney and Bob returned to Florence to raise their son, and happily she became a stay-at-home mom.
New again to the community, her network of friendships came about through the Bible studies she led or volunteering for local non-profits. She took a leading role in the Love Notes Benefit for the Slaughenhoupt family, and from that she was inspired to create Value TV, a local television program for individuals and businesses to share their inspirations and success stories. She started Smile Media, LLC to produce Value TV, and served as president.
Courtney always had to have multiple projects rotating around her, she always had to do more. In 2015, she was inspired to help the increasing number of homeless, indigent, and hungry children in FSD1. Through her vision, SNAC Shelter and Nutrition for All Children was founded in 2015.
The family will accept visitors in the Commons of Central United Methodist Church in Florence at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary; a private family burial will follow.
To honor Courtneys life, we believe she would have wanted you to support our local charities. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SNAC, 825 West Evans Street, Florence, SC 29501, House of Hope, 1020 West Darlington Street, Florence, SC 2950; or the Parking Lot Mission. She will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved her.
