Donna Lynn Johnson

          FLORENCE – Donna Lynn Johnson, 61, died Monday, May 6, 2024, after an illness.

          A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2024, at Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home.

          Donna was born in Orangeburg, SC, a daughter of the late Edward Lee and Eva Jewel Johnson.  She earned her undergraduate and Masters degrees in Accounting at Francis Marion University.  She worked in accounting at Francis Marion University, Smurfit-Stone, McCall Farms, and Farmers Home Furniture.

          Donna enjoyed spending time with friends and family and cooking.  She also loved her cat, Angel.

          In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Brenda Lee Smith.

          She is survived by a nephew, Brian Smith, of Florence; two nieces, Jennifer Lyles (David) and Stephanie Smith, both of Florence; an aunt, Elizabeth Clark (Frank) of Columbia, SC; and great-nieces and -nephews, Owen Edward Smith, Eliana Lee Lyles, Caroline Kaye Lyles, and River Christian Lyles.
