Doris Ann Geddings

Florence- Doris Ann Williams Geddings, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in her home after an illness.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday, November 13, 2014 in the Chapel of Waters-Powell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4-5 PM before the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Geddings was born in Florence a daughter of the late Jim and Alma Hudson Williams. She was a home health nurses aide where she sat and cared for many people. She was member of Oakdale Baptist Church and also attended Peace Free Will Baptist Church. She was a long time resident of Florence and enjoyed cooking and traveling.

Surviving are a son, Riley Andrew Geddings, III of Melbourne, FL; a daughter, Gwen Burch of Florence; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a sister, Isabel W. Kirby of Florence; two nieces and two nephews.
