Ellen Lynn Galloway

FLORENCE - Ellen Lynn Galloway was born on January 8, 1966, in Marion County, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Haston Gloria Galloway and Elma Tilton Matthews. Ellen died on Thursday, February 12, 2015, in a Florence hospital after an illness.

Survivors include her brother, Sammie Junior Matthews, and his wife, Renae, of Pamplico; two aunts, Bon-nie Richardson, and her husband, Stanley, of Brittons Neck, SC, and Betsy Humphries of Johnsonville, SC; two nieces, Chelsea Matthews and Caitlin Matthews; and a nephew, Sammie Nickolas Matthews.

The family will celebrate her life from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, at High Hill Cemetery in Scranton.
