Elma Tilton Matthews

Coward- Elma Tilton Matthews, 69, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 in her residence.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 22, 2014 in the Chapel of Waters-Powell Funeral Home with interment following in High Hill Cemetery in Scranton.

Ms. Matthews was born in Florence a daughter of the late Sammie E. and Clara Poston Tilton. She was married to the late Haston Galloway and the late Junior Matthews. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Holiness Church in Scranton.

Surviving are a son, Sammie Junior (Renae) Matthews of Pamplico; a daughter, Ellen Lynn Galloway of Pamplico; three grandchildren, Chelsea Matthews, Caitlin Matthews, and Nick Matthews; and a two sisters, Bonnie M. Richardson of Brittons Neck and Betsy Humphries.
