Ethelle Elberta Shipler

FLORENCE Ethelle E. Kitty Hickox Shipler, 82, died Thursday, June 29, 2016, after an illness.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church followed by entombment in Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum. Services are directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home.

She was born in Hilliard, Florida, a daughter of the late Roy A. and Alma D. Spradley Hickox. She was retired from Wellman, Inc. Palmetto Plant in 1998. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church since 1991, and was a Sunday School teacher.

Predeceased by six brothers and a sister, she is survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 1011 S. Parker Dr., Florence, SC 29501.
