Flora Judge Obituary
FLORENCE Flora Lucille Reid Judge, 68, passed away peacefully after a long illness on February 1, 2015, surrounded by her family and friends.
Funeral Mass will be said at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2015, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
She was born in Spruce Pine, NC, a daughter of the late James B. and Zella Biddix Reid of Kingstree, SC. She was a homemaker and caregiver to many including her sisters and mother-in-law.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Jimmy Reid, George E. Reid, and Paul R. Reid; and four sisters, Mable Reid Conyers, Roberta Reid Coker Cox, Bessie Sue Reid Mauney Floyd, and Lois Ann Reid Clark.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Daniel J. Judge, Sr., of the home; one daughter, Mary E. Judge, of Florence; three sons, Danny J. Judge, Jr., and fianc, Brandie, Michael Judge and wife, April, and Brian Judge, all of Florence; a brother, Charles Tommy Reid of Syracuse, NY; daughter-in-law, Fritze; grandchildren, Tiffany, Alex, Samantha, Jacob, M.J., Joey; and a great-granddaughter, Payton.
