Frances Williams Northern

FLORENCE Frances Williams Northern, 90, widow of Peyton B. Northern, Sr., died Monday, September 16, 2013, in a local health care center after an illness.

Mrs. Northern was born in Sheffield, Alabama, and spent most of her adult life in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2013, in Florence National Cemetery, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Peyton B. Pat (Mickie) Northern, Jr.; a granddaughter, Paige Johnson, and great-granddaughter, Ava Makenzi Johnson, all of Florence; and a sister, Christine (Carl) Boyed of Portland, OR.
