Gayle Hanna Sweat

FLORENCE – Linda Gayle Hanna Sweat, 63, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, at her residence after an illness.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in Cornerstone Baptist Church with burial following in Florence Memorial Gardens, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home.

She was born in Florence, SC, and was predeceased by her mother, LaVonne Bazen Hanna Hare.

Mrs. Sweat was an accountant and was employed with Cornerstone Baptist Church, the Country Club of South Carolina, and Davis and Brown.

She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ted Sweat of the home; a daughter, Tedra (Chad) Harris of Florence; a son, Christopher Todd (Jill) Sweat of Camden, SC; a sister, Mary Hanna (Bruce) Bennett of Pamplico, SC; two brothers, W. T. (Patricia) Hanna, Jr. of Monroe, NC, and Furman Dale (Henrietta) Hanna of Pamplico, SC; an aunt, Dianne (Tim) Gaskins of Pamplico; and four grandchildren, Channa, Camryn, and Chandler Harris, and Josey Sweat.
