Geraldine Miller Webb

DILLON Geraldine Miller Webb, 93, died Monday, May 11, 2015, at Pruitt Health Dillon, where she had resided for the last eight years.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Florence with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.

She was born in Kingstree, SC, a daughter of the late Constant Hubert and Ruth Talbot Miller. She was the widow of John William Webb. Mrs. Webb was employed as a secretary for various businesses.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Florence, where she enjoyed teaching children Bible Drill and G.A.s. She was a member of the Joy Sunday School class.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Her constant smile was an inspiration to many.

Survivors include her daughter, Gloria (Marvin) Lee of Dillon; a daughter-in-law, Rosiland Webb, of Columbia; five grandchildren, Sandy McLeod and Tom (Stacey) Webb, both of Columbia, Dawn (Brad) Douglas of Winnsboro, SC, John (Courtney) Webb, IV, of St. Augustine, FL, and Sharon Webb of Greenville, SC; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, John W. Webb, Jr.
