Gloria Ham Middleton

FLORENCE Gloria Ham Middleton, 75, died Saturday, September 28, 2013, in a local hospital after an illness.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 30, 2013, in Grace Baptist Church, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home (www.waterspowellfh.com). Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Monday, at the church, and at other times at the home, 1513 Waverly Ave., Florence.

She was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Ossie Thomas and Grace Johnson Ham. She worked for various hospitals as a bookkeeper/secretary.

Ms. Middleton was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Florence.

Survivors include two daughters, Crystal (Olberto) Mejia and Wendy Taylor (Joe Ciccarelli), both of Florence; two granddaughters, Amber Allenczy and Haley Wise, both of Florence; three great-grandchildren, Savannah Allenczy, Ethan Mejia, and Layton Hickman; two sisters, Linda (Keith) Allen of Florence and Jody (Wayne) Jones of Hartsville; and two brothers, Tammy (Janet) Ham of Darlington and BeBe (Debbie) Ham of Timmonsville.

She was predeceased by four brothers, George Ham, Cecil Ham, Terry Ham, and O.T. Ham.
