Harriet Anne Howle

        Harriet Anne Howle, 79, passed away at her home in the early morning of February 11, 2026.

        She was born on April 4, 1946, the daughter of the late Rhodia Gertrude Leslie Howle and William Sunday Howle.

        She loved the beach and worked for many years at Family Kingdom in Myrtle Beach.

        Harriet was a member of the Florence Baptist Temple.

        She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Tolar, parents, and brothers, Baxter Lorraine Howle and Herbert Charles Howle. She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Tolar Edwards; a son, William Keith Tolar; her grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Also surviving is her sister, Miriam Howle Vause (Donald) and their daughter, Karen Vause Hoogenboom (Bryan).

        The family will hold a visitation on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Church of God of Prophecy, 426 S. Church Street, Florence, SC 29506.
