FLORENCE – Henry McElveen “Mackey” Tomlinson, 57, died Sunday, March 30, 2014.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the home of Jimmy Tomlinson, 1300 Greenland Drive, Florence.

He was born in Florence, a son of the late John Olin and Lucille McElveen Tomlinson. He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Tomlinson Ransom and Casey Tomlinson, both of Florence; two sisters, Frances T. Hickox of Florence and Harriett T. (Ray) Hayes of Hartsville; a brother, Jimmy (Glenna) Tomlinson of Florence; and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 1356 Pineland Drive, Florence, SC 29505; or to First Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 2624 W. Palmetto St., Florence, SC 29501.
