Herbert Smith, III Obituary
FLORENCE Herbert Joseph Trey Smith, III, 43, died Friday, August 30, 2013, at his residence.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2013, in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home.
He was born in Florence, a son of Herbert Joseph Smith, Jr., and the late Georgia Ann McKenzie Smith. He was a life-long resident of Florence and was a chef.
Mr. Smith was a member of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his father of Houston, TX; his maternal grandmother, Louise Smith of Florence; two sisters, Angela Pope of Florence and Amy (Jerry) Ciarla of Fountain Inn, SC; and two brothers, Randall Brown of Travelers Rest, SC, and David (Alison) Pope of Shelby, NC.
