FLORENCE – Jimmy Ray Bozeman, age 55, died Thursday, February 29, 2024. He was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late Travis Latimore Bozeman, Jr., and Mary Anderson Bozeman.
Jimmy graduated from Wilson High School and was last employed as a transport driver for the railroad. His favorite pastime was playing “BINGO.”
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shannon Howard; two sisters, Ann Bozeman and Mary Bozeman Miles; and two brothers, Eugene Bozeman and Kenny Bozeman.
He is survived by a son, Blaine Howard, of New Jersey; two sisters, Kathy Welch and Betty Bozeman, both of Florence; four nieces, Michele Godley (Joey) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Candice B. Ward (Johnathon) of Nichols, SC, Ashley Poole of Effingham, and Lindsey Brown (Rodney) of Myrtle Beach; three nephews, Chris Grantham (Katelyn Jordan) of Florence, Skyler Woodell (Albree) of Sellers, SC, and Ken Bozeman of Concord, NC; and a special friend, Allyson Evans, of Florence.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2024, in Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
