Kathy Elaine Woodle

          FLORENCE – Kathy Elaine Britt Woodle, 66, died Friday, August 22, 2025, after an illness.

          Kathy was born in Mullins, South Carolina, a daughter of Helen Joyce Turner Smith and the late Paul Warren Britt.  Kathy worked for many years as a cleaning agent with ServPro in Florence, and also in the security business.

          She was an avid baseball fan, especially the Atlanta Braves.  She was an excellent cook, and loved to cook for others.

          She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Ronald L. Woodle, Sr., of Florence; her mother, Helen Smith, also of Florence; three step-sons, Ronald Woodle, Jr., of Waynesville, NC, Kelly Cromer (Melinda) and Wayne Bain, both of Florence; a step-daughter, Sandy Frady (Alvin) of Waynesville, NC; a brother, Chris Britt of Florence; two nephews, Chad Britt of Florence and Tyler Britt of Charlotte, NC; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

          Kathy was predeceased by a brother, Danny Britt; step-daughter, Marie Green; step-granddaughter, Christen Hoover, and a step-great-grandchild.

          A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will greet friends following the service.
