Leroy Jordan

          FLORENCE – Leroy Jordan, 84, died Friday, January 31, 2025, after a brief illness.

          He was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late Forrest and Minnie Sellers Jordan.  He graduated from Wilson High School, Francis Marion University, and Florence-Darlington Technical College.  He was a business administrator with Alexander’s of Florence, and retired from the United States Postal Service.

          Mr. Jordan served his country in the U.S. Army during the VietNam War.  He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

          He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

          He is survived by his wife, Debra Ham Jordan, of the home; two daughters, Perdetsa Jordan and Patrice Manette Holloway; a son, Forrest J. Jordan; a step-son, Randell Stafford (Kayla) of Davidson, NC; a sister, Louise Talley, of Richmond, VA; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
