Linda Cecile Gibson

FLORENCE - Linda Cecile Stewart Gibson, 73, died Friday, May 22, 2015 in a local hospice facility after an illness.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, May 25, 2015 at Pisgah United Methodist Church, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home.

Ms. Gibson was born in Darlington, a daughter of the late Frank T. and Corrie Mae Young Stewart. She attended Coker College and worked as an Insurance Broker for many years. Ms. Gibson was also a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, Tony Wayne (Sharon) Gibson; two grandchildren, Price Gibson and John Gibson; a sister, Marsha Stewart (Richard) Bryant; two nephews, Hartwell (Heather) Bryant and their children, Wells and Jase, and Stewart Bryant, all of Florence.
