Lindsey "Lynn" Wilburn Franken

FLORENCE Lindsey Lynn Wilburn Franken, 59, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013.

She was born in Columbia and raised in Union, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Honorable and Mrs. David Norman Wilburn, Jr. She attended Clemson University and graduated from Francis Marion University. She was the office manager of SNIP in Florence. A loving mother, grandmother, and avid dog lover, she will be missed by many.

Lynn was a member of The Church of Nativity in Union, South Carolina.

Survivors include her daughter, Lindsey Franken, of Greenville, SC; her son, John (Alana) Franken, of Florence; her childrens father, John (Debbie) Franken of Conway, SC; her childrens paternal grandparents, John and Patricia Franken, of Little River, SC; grandson, John Harper Franken, who lovingly referred to her as La La; two brothers, David Norman (Teresa) Wilburn, III, of Spartanburg, SC, and Timothy Ellis (Susan) Wilburn of Floral City, FL; aunt, Elizabeth Wilburn Priss Hooker of Richmond, VA; niece, Kirby Elizabeth Wilburn of Floral City, FL; and three nephews, Timothy Ellis Wilburn, Jr., of Floral City, FL, David Norman Wilburn, IV, of Spartanburg, SC, and Christopher Cranford of Salem, OR.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 12, 2013, at St. Johns Church in Florence. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home.
