Margaret Miller Jones

FLORENCE Margaret Nancy Miller Jones, 91, died Thursday, November 14, 2013, in a local hospital after an illness.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013, in Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home, and other times at the home of J. J. Jones, 102 Conder Circle, Darlington.

Mrs. Jones was born in Pamplico, SC, a daughter of the late Robert and Annie Jones Miller. She was a clerk with Eckerd Drugs and was a homemaker. Mrs. Jones was a long-time member of Palmetto Street Church of God.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbur Thomas Jones; a daughter, Pauline Caswell; and three sons, Gene Jones, Carson Jones, and James Jones.

Survivors include her daughter, Wilma (Frank) Brock of Florence; a son, Joel J. J. (Sherry) Jones of Darlington; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
