Marion Wayne Gause

LAKE CITY Marion Wayne Gause, 59, of Lake City, died on Thursday, August 27, 2015, at his residence after a sudden illness.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 31, 2015, at Florence National Cemetery, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home of Florence.

He was born in Williamsburg Co., SC, a son of Delores Goodman Gause of Florence, and the late Marion Gause. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a daughter, Susan Marie Gause, and a son, Dawayne Hope Gause, both of Kingstree; a sister, Delores Tisdale, of Florence; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Hope Gause, Jayce Catherine Gause, and Brandy Leigh McKenzie; a great-grandson, Elliott Christopher Ward; six nieces and nephews, Ronald Tisdale, Christy Itehua, Kayla Itehua, Lisa Itehua, T. J. Goodman, and Heather Castrignano; and a grand-niece, Destiny Hilton.
