FLORENCE Mary Ada Booth, 88, died Sunday morning, February 28, 2016, at the Presbyterian Community Home of Lexington, SC.
She was born in Mullins, SC, a daughter of the late Robert Fulton and Cordie Nicholson Booth. She graduated from Florence High School and the Florence Business College. She was a secretary in the insurance industry in Florence and Columbia, and was also employed as a secretary with the Florence County Health Department.
Mary was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Florence.
She is survived by a sister, Ona B. (Aaron) Gaddy of Lake View, SC, and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Florence, followed by a graveside service at 3:00 p.m., directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home.
