Melody LaBarge Obituary

Melody Rose LaBarge, 68, died Tuesday, January 30, 2024, after an illness.

Melody was born in Plattsburgh, NY, and earned an associate degree in Humanities. She spent her career in retail, but her passion was creating beautiful things. She enjoyed interior decorating, making jewelry, and crafting her own wreathes. Formerly of Myrtle Beach, she had resided in Lake City for the past five years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Gladys and Ivan Cross. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, April and Ken Peace of Florence, and her grandchildren, Kendall Peace and Alex Peace.
