Olin Dee Revell

FLORENCE Olin Dee Revell, 79, died Sunday, April 26, 2015, in a local hospital after an illness.

Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.

He was born in Florence County, SC, a son of the late Bennie Wylie and Elma Tedder Revell. He was a retired truck driver for Roadway Express.

Mr. Revell was a member of Christian Assembly Church. He was an avid fan of the U.S.C. Gamecocks and NASCAR.

Survivors include his wife, Valeria Lee Revell of Effingham; two sons, Ricky (Ivy) Revell and Terry (Kim) Revell, both of Florence; a sister, Mary Frances Matthews of Florence; four granddaughters, Micayla, Megan and Madyson Revell, and Shonda Griggs; and a great-granddaughter, Angela Revell; and his two faithful companions, Bella and Lilly.

He was predeceased by four sisters and six brothers.
