Peggy Woods Wise

AUGUSTA, GA Peggy Woods Wise, 81, died Sunday, December 28, 2014, at her residence in Augusta, GA. Born May 20, 1933, in Chatham County, NC, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, D. Everett Wise. She was a long-time devoted member of St. Anthony Catholic Parish in Florence.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Liner (Joe) of Mesa, AZ, and Debbie Moffitt of Zebulon, NC; a brother, Gerald Woods (Deborah) of August, GA; and two sisters, Dr. Pamela Duncan (Larry) of Seven Lakes, NC, and Patricia Longshore (William) of Cary, NC. She is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Florence. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home. Members of the Knights of Columbus will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church or to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
