Reba Norris Brown

          Reba Norris Brown, 80, died Saturday, April 11, 2026, at a Darlington health care facility after an illness.

          She was born in Whiteville, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Azier and Vera Worley Norris.  She attended Whiteville High School and was a homemaker.

          Mrs. Brown was predeceased by her husband, James Harold Brown; a son, Gregory M. Brown; and two brothers, Brooks Norris and Paul Norris.

          Survivors include her daughter, Pamela D. Brown of Darlington; a sister, Pearl Thompson of Whiteville, NC; a granddaughter, Tyler B. Pearson (J.C.) of Mechanicsville, SC; two grandsons, Dustin R. Edmonds of Columbia and Dylan R. Edmonds (Jessie) of Effingham, SC; and three great-grandchildren, Holland R. Edmonds, Dawson R. Edmonds, and Gracie Pearson.

          The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home.  Interment in Florence National Cemetery will be private.
