Richard Arnold Wiles

FLORENCE - A graveside service, directed by Waters- Powell Funeral Home, will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Florence Memorial Gardens, for Richard Arnold Wiles.


Mr. Wiles passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at the age of 81. He was the son of the late John Irvin and Lillian Rose Hague Wiles. He was originally from Richmond, VA, later moved to Winston-Salem, NC, and then to Florence, SC. He was a Korean War Veteran, licensed electrician, and best friend to Mary Stephens and "Little Rusty. His favorite past time was the "open road.


He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Richard Dale Wiles, and is survived by a daughter, Deborah Wiles Hill, and a son, Jeffrey Allen Wiles. The grandchildren are Jacqueline Wiles Wooten, Joshua Wiles, Sierra Wiles, Stephen Tyler Edeburn and Jessica Anne Hill.
