Rufus Norman Reagin

FLORENCE Rufus Norman Reagin, 88, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014. Mr. Reagin was born in Charleston, a son of the late Henry B. Reagin and Lillie Ella Cook. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Myrtle.

A long-time devoted member of Greenwood Baptist Church, he is survived by two daughters, Jean (Adin) Putnam of Denham Springs, LA, and Elizabeth (Billy) Calcutt of Florence. Also surviving are grandchildren, Will Calcutt, Jon Putnam, and Anna (Jeff) Berthelot of Denham Springs, LA, and Andy Calcutt of Florence, as well as great-granddaughter, Keara Berthelot, of Denham Springs, LA.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 2, 2015, at Greenwood Baptist Church with burial following in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Friday, at the church.
