Shirley Goodman Warren

FLORENCE Shirley Faye Goodman Warren, 65, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Friday, January 24, 2014, after an illness.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2014, in Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Hicks Chapel Cemetery in Coward, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.

She was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Jessie Blease and Doris Filyaw Goodman. She was a member of Gospel Temple.

She loved her family unconditionally and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Warren, of Florence; a son, Marvin Ray (Dawn) Burr of Hartsville; two daughters, Phyllis Gainey, of Hartsville, and Shirley Marie Johnson of Florence; a sister, Libby (Ed) Nealey, and brother, Cecil (Shirley) Goodman, both of Florence; step-daughter, Robin Melissa Warren of Pensacola, FL, and step-son, Jerry James Warren of Jackson, Miss.; an aunt, Lillie Mae Filyaw, of Florence; seven grandchildren, Ashley Sportiello, Candice Hollman, Jessica Spell, Stacy Gainey, Joshua Burr, Jacob Burr and Jonathan Burr; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a life-long friend, Lila McGee, of Florence.
