Susan Conner Hunt

SURFSIDE BEACH Susan Conner Hunt, 59, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 24, 2014, at Elim Baptist Church in Effingham, SC, with burial following in the church cemetery, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral in the Family Life Center at the church.

Mrs. Hunt was born in Florence, a daughter of Ruth Pope Conner and the late Edward Brantley Conner. She graduated from Southside High School and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Hunt was a member of Elim Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to her mother of Florence, include her husband, John William Hunt, of Surfside Beach, SC; four daughters, Tara (Stephen) Evans, Heather (Buddy) Lynch, and Dana (Eric) Parrott, all of Florence, and Brenda Lee (David) Bailey of Pacolet, SC; a son, Dwayne Floyd, of Florence; four grandsons, Brantley (Morgan) Evans, Dylan Lynch, Tyler Parrott, and Gavin Evans; two granddaughters, Ashley Bailey and Taylor Bailey; a sister, Penny (Don ) Trask of Florence; and two brothers, Jimmy (Pat) Conner of Florence and Tim (Zade) Conner of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
