Susan Ann Morganti

FLORENCE Susan Ann Parker Morganti, 87, died Monday, December 8, 2014, in a local hospital after an illness.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2014, in Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.

She was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Bogan and Addie Farmer Parker. She was formerly employed with Electro-Motive Manufacturing Company.

Mrs. Morganti was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was also a member and past president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She served as Matron Advisor of South Carolina Physical Handicap Society, Chapter 3181.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony Morganti of Florence; two sons, Larry (Dianne) Morganti and Steve (Angie) Morganti, both of Florence; two grandchildren, Michael Morganti of Charleston, SC, and Kelli M. (Bryan) Kaye of Florence; three great-grandchildren, Brooke Morganti, Alexa Kaye and Landon Kaye; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Morganti; a half-sister, Magdalene Ham Griffin; five half-brothers, Lawrence Parker, Sanders Parker, Walter Ham, Wade Ham and Harry Ham.
