Sybil Camlin Schubert

FLORENCE Sybil Camlin Schubert, 69, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at McLeod Hospice House after an illness.

Funeral service will be 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 26, 2014, at St. Paul United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service in the Family Life Center.

She was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Cecil Martin and Agnes Viola Camlin. She earned her Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Francis Marion College and was a school teacher with Florence District One and The Kings Academy for 40 years.

She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Richard A. Schubert, of Florence; a daughter, Sherri Schubert (C. Weston) Hawkins of Yorktown, VA; a son, Rick (Maria) Schubert of Huntersville, NC; grandchildren, Jack Hawkins, Tom Hawkins, Luke Hawkins, Reid Hawkins, Sarah Kathryn Schubert, Stephen Schubert, and Emma Schubert; three sisters, Marilyn Shokes of Charleston, SC, Julia Sellers of Hendersonville, NC, and Vivian Meggs of Florence; and a brother, Harold Camlin of Florence.

She was predeceased by a brother, Cecil Camlin, Jr.
