Tony Steven Sereg

FLORENCE Tony Steven Sereg, 55, of Darlington, died Saturday, May 30, 2015, at McLeod Hospice House after an illness.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of Whitney and Jamie Sereg.

Tony was born in Florence, a son of the late Steve and Uldine Sereg. He worked with Sumter Utilities for a number of years and most recently was an electrical foreman with Pike. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed landscaping, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He was especially fond of his dog, Waffles.

He is survived by his two sons, Whitney (Jamie) Sereg of Lynchburg, SC, and Jason Sereg of Villa Rica, GA; and a brother, Paul (Wanda) Sereg of Summerton, SC. He was predeceased by a sister, Karen Sereg.
