Tracy Milton Galloway

LYNCHBURG Tracy Milton Galloway, 77, died Sunday, May 1, 2016, at his home after an illness.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home in Florence. The family will receive friends immediately following the service, and other times at his residence, 157 Church Street, Lynchburg, SC.

H e was born in Florence, a son of the late T. A. Galloway, Sr., and Ollie Lee Touchberry Galloway. He graduated from Florence-Darlington Technical College and was a wholesale manager with Stackhouse Sheet Metal. He later opened his own business, Metal Supplier.

Mr. Galloway was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Nancy Blanchard Galloway, of the home; three sons, Tracy A. (Glenda) Galloway of Florence, Kevin L. (Pam) Galloway of Effingham, and Christopher (Amy) Galloway of Lynchburg; four sisters, Hazel Rogers, Cornelia (Richard) Brock, and Peggy Galloway, all of Florence, and Marilyn (Ralph) Desevo of Florida; three brothers, Ben Galloway and Harvey (Rita) Galloway, both of Florence, and Wayne (Bonnie) Galloway of Darlington; six grandchildren, Jessica Galloway, Donnie Galloway, Tearra G. (Andy) Jordan, Kevin Galloway Jr., Sarah Galloway, and Christopher Galloway; and two great-grandchildren, Bentley Jordan and Jordyn Galloway.

He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, T.A. Galloway, Jr., and Frank Galloway; and two sisters, Betty Mae Galloway and Uldine Johns.
