Virginia Ann Barfield

FLORENCE Virginia Ann Barfield, of Florence, SC, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015. She was born October 1, 1964.

She was predeceased by her biological parents, Thomas John Barfield and June Hayes Barfield and her parents who adopted and raised her, Thomas Jefferson and Ruth Miller Barfield.

She is survived by her brother, Richard M. Barfield and wife Linda F. Barfield of Florence; brother Marion C. Barfield and wife Pam Barfield of Hartsville, SC; and brother, Thomas M. Tommy Barfield and wife Mary Barfield of Florence. She is also survived by nieces, a great-nephew, and numerous cousins, both young and old. She also leaves her four-legged children, Belle and Buddy.

She was employed by Goodwill Industries of Florence for the last six years. She was a member of Indiantown Presbyterian Church, Indiantown, SC, and Order of the Eastern Star, Hemingway Chapter 156, Hemingway, SC.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 9, 2015, in Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
