Walter "Bo" James Treadway

          FLORENCE – Walter James “Bo” Treadway, 67, died Sunday, December 28, 2025, after an extended illness.

          He was born in Horry County, SC, a son of the late Pete and Pearline Cooper Treadway.  He was a retired truck driver, and was also the Pastor at New Hope Baptist Church in Florence.

          He is survived by his wife, Dee Rhodes Treadway, of the home; a son, B. J. Treadway, of Florence; a brother, Ronnie Treadway of Florence County, SC; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

          Bo was predeceased by a sister, Linda Carol Yarborough; and a daughter, Wendy Treadway Catoe.

          A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at New Hope Baptist Church, 2012 New Hope Drive, Florence, SC.  All are invited to dress casually, as Bo would prefer.
