Willard Lewis Bell, Jr.

FLORENCE Willard Lewis Bell, Jr., 61, died Sunday, August 4, 2013, in a local hospital after an illness.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013, in Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens with Masonic Rites.

He was born in Florence, the son of Willard Lewis Bell, Sr., and Ruth Morris Bell. He graduated from McClenaghan High School and Francis Marion University, and earned a Masters Degree from Nova Southeastern University. He was an engineer with CSX Railroad for 15 years.

Mr. Bell was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was also a Mason, Hampton Lodge #204. He was a past Worshipful Master and currently served as secretary.

Survivors include his daughter, Whitney Elizabeth Bell, of Florence, and a son, Cameron Lewis (Amy) Bell of Darlington, SC.
