FLORENCE - Surrounded by her loving family, Zeta Perrell Isgett died Friday, June 26, 2015 at Bethea Baptist Health Care Center.
Zeta was born on December 5, 1941 in Burlington, NC to the late Rev. Orion William and Charlotte Rolston Perrell. She graduated in 1959 from Waxhaw High School, in Waxhaw, NC.
She is survived by four daughters: Amy (Kerry) Matthews, Beth (Harrell) Poston, Cheryl (Steve) Mims and Dana Croft, all of Florence, SC. She is also survived by one brother, Orion R. Perrell of Newberry, SC. Zeta was blessed with six grandchildren: Ashley (Matt) Frye, Phillip Matthews, Woody Poston, Alex Poston, Kelsey Croft and Kayla Croft; and two great-grandchildren: Noah Evans and Anna Katherine Frye. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Rogers, and her second husband, Frank Isgett.
After retiring with more than 30 years service with Airgas National Welders, Zeta enjoyed volunteering at Carolinas Hospital System. She was a member of Effingham Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the choir.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Waters-Powell Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Kerry & Amy Matthews, 3100 Country Creek Drive, Effingham. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2015 at Effingham Presbyterian Church, with burial following at Florence Memorial Gardens.
